It's because the topic would require more time and details to get into than it's worth compared to far more important things to cover. If it was delved into, you'd be here saying, "the reviewer focused too much on the shooting mechanics, git gud" lol

Considering I showed the 10ft shadow draw distance, 240p shadows, poor lighting engine at work, and low level of detail (moreso in Nioh 1), I'm not entirely sure what game you were looking at lol... I didn't have enough time to even show the object pop-in in Nioh 2, favoring the time towards talking about the story!
@Apoc That's exactly it: I didn't play it in VR. If I'm going to mention VR, then I should play it in VR (if only one mission out of the six) so I have something worth saying. Otherwise, why mention something I have nothing to say about? When you combine that with the fact that the game is identical in VR, I see no reason to mention it. People watching or reading my review will find nothing I've stated plays out any differently in VR, so I stand by my review :P
@Apoc That's also an incorrect statement, I've played a lot of VR games. You're mixing up gameplay immersion with core content. Sniping someone with my hands up looking through the scope myself is more immersive than pulling the left controller trigger, wiggling the stick, and then pulling the right trigger. But the headshot I land is the same result between the two. VR games are wholly more immersive, but do NOT change the gameplay's core elements. VR does not change me dumpi...
I honestly considered this, but perspective only changes immersion, not gameplay elements, not content, not how you complete missions. It would still be the same game, except I get to look my victim in the eyes and watch the lights go out. 😈 lol

Can't directly reply to your reply, but you might be surprised at the simplicity and near-zero risk as I think so far I'm one of the only ones who is suggesting a completely reversible method... which means you can try and try again until you get it right OR even use other colors and mixes!

Pretty much everyone I know is saying it's large, but in reference to gaming consoles lol... You're bordering on me saying, "look how small it is compared to my car, and it's just 10lbs!". Of course it's tiny in the grand scheme of life, and my PC is about 50lbs, but that doesn't make this not a behemoth of a gaming console 🤣

Ya know, you actually make a valid point: I've known artists that can be quite competitive and spiteful if they feel their artwork or style is even remotely infringed upon. It is possible that since I didn't know HR Giger personally, he could have saw this as an attempt to "copy" him, and instead mock it or pass it off as a imitation. At the same time, though, had he been around for this, it COULD have pushed him to work harder or do more since sometimes competition even i...
