This article is factually incorrect .. How can it get a "late 2019 release date" when the game is supposedly coming to Early Access on Dec. 19, 2019 ? Are they going from EA to full release in a week ?
Also, the EA version does not have a specific date, but is listed as "Q4 2019" and like somebody else here said, it's 20 months for now, so more likely than not it is NOT going to make that date

This is not news, nor even a rumor. It was revealed and confirmed last year (on two occasions).
Which you apparently knew before posting it here since you asked your source (Scott Pytlik, 2K PR) if you could use his reply, and he said that it was not a secret that Gearbox is working on Borderlands 3.
