In Battlefield 3 we trust.
I hope it's as good if not better than Demon's Souls, especially the difficulty.
Sucks that the story is cutoff on that scan, would like to know if we're in a new world or what.
Would instantly buy this if Kojima brought back Z.O.E. for it, or some sort of dual console/NGP Metal Gear (which is likely from what he said), E3 can't come soon enough!
There is nothing that can compare to the selling power of COD this gen, so damn right.
I know you're busy but Zone of the Enders 3 Kojima, please!
I'm glad in a way this is LBPT 2 and not some more realistic game. If people went too far with these levels you would probably have some sort of attention by the government.
Funniest yet truest comment I've read all day.
I think this really was 'the killer,' if by killing one means the gap in sales. Sony really did not advertise the strength of their software during the end of 2010 very much. Everywhere else it was KINECT KINECT KINECT (500 million on this does help),
I don't see what is wrong with having a variety of unlockable weapons, adds realism and replayability to every shooting game.
Having a ridiculous amount of over-powered perks (which Bad Company didn't really have but COD did) is a bad idea however.
Honestly if guns were more focused on their real life counter-parts things would probably balance themselves out, (as long as stupid perks and realistic-fair limits were used).
It's easy, don't support their cash cow. Play Killzone 3, Play Gears of War. In fact as everyone knows, there are TONS of FPS coming out this year. Ignore the media slut which is Activision.
The game needs to be fundamentally changed before it can be salvaged again.
If it really is as powerful as a PS3 I hope the studios who have been working on PS3 games have the staff to do projects for it because any studio stuck with PSP or similar graphics/engines would be looking at 3,4,5 year development times and that would just be ridiculous.
So yeah, I can see ALOT of ports and remakes, initially.
And it lasted awhile (for the ps3 at least and I guess it's still on the xbox), till the hackers took over.
I guess it's not even worth it to play MW2 anymore. People doing this didn't seem that rampant but considering how it'll never be dealt with is just sad to think about.
Seems very unlikely they'd spend money they don't have to risk another console.
I just wish they'd do something with Guilty Gear after taking it from Arc System Works :(
Completely agree with this, the old FFs were all about you having control over the battle and being able to tailor your strategy depending on what the enemy/boss did. With all the new stuff you have to conform to their system and worse off just mash x for the stupid auto-battle thing. It's like controlling an 'interactive' movie.
Hope XV goes in a better direction...
Guess they were just trying to showcase an unwavering commitment to 3Ding everything.
At least one bone thrown to the masses about the Xperia Play or PSP2 or anything we hadn't seen before would've been great, but I think this was normal.
Edit: Also, when that guy took the phone out of his jacket I was crossing fingers for it to be the XPlay but no dice.
If you notice I wasn't implying BO was a worse game. It's just different from MW2's silliness. Articles like this one don't seem to be putting it in a very good light.
I feel rather bad because my friend wanted a PS3 game (he just got his system) so we traded used games with him getting MW2 and me getting FFXIII (In retrospect I realize that it was a equal trade of rather pathetic games).
I haven't played BO but I'd imagine it's a step away from MW2. (In a different direction) At least on the ps3 version, people are doing all the exact same thing now and it's absurd. The game is basically at an unprecedented arcadey level an...
Warcraft is a disease, life is the cure.
Wow. I'm gonna have to buy 2 copies of this. One for PC so it can look and feel as ridiculously epic as that video, and another for PS3 so I can play with my friends.
2011 is the end days for anyone's wallet. (In a good way I guess)
