It better sell well on Xb1 or third party studios will become wary of giving their games exclusivity to Msoft.
If the game is rated poorly, not only will it sell less on Xb1. Ps4 and pc players are not going to buy a low rated game released a year later.

Xbox has halo but Sony also has marketing rights for Star wars and Black ops 3 and we all know how these marketing deals have done wornder for the sale of Ps4's around the world.
Destiny, arkham knight bundled with ps4 sold really well and you can only imagine the numbers when the Mgs5, star wars and blackops bundle come out.
