I don't remember my madcatz experiences super fondly to be honest. I was always sad when I got stuck with that controller over the official one during multiplayer lol

Viktor Baskov was maybe one or two episodes before he was killed. Bones too has maybe a few passing characters. I don't really know if we should be celebrating the one or two appearances of a random side character and patting ourselves on the back for being so inclusive. Your complaint is that LGBT people make up 4% of the population and ask why they should be in every show? My examples have LGBT characters for FAR less than 4% of the time.
I like how easily Social Justice Warrior gets tossed out. Because wanting to see a game where there's a character of my sexuality I can relate to is so SJW-y. Why should you be the only ones catered to? If 4% of the population is gay shouldn't 4% of the games have gay options in them? These entire arguments are based around population, but I'm 100% positive less than 4% of games have homosexual characters or romance options...even less so that aren't huge stereotypes.

They aren't. You're way overblowing LGBT representation. I could probably count on one hand the amount of games in the last few years that had LGBT characters. Mass effect andromeda does not equal 100% of games.

LGBT people still live in a precarious position even in 2017, and any media that has the opportunity to normalize this sort of romance should do so to encourage a diverse player base and cater to different viewpoints. How the hell is it at the expense of others? It can't take THAT much resources to toss together a decent 10 minute scene or two.
Yeah it's still pretty sucky, but at least if you smash your switch or something there's a small glimmer of hope you can recover your saves. Still, it's not practical for day to day use, I agree.
