Add a decent online Call of Duty to the NGP and you have an enormous market tacked on top
Epic's video looked very impressive also.
Means we should hopefully get some decent third party titles throughout its lifetime :)
f*ck it :/
Waste of my money there.
The cammo available in Specact really does work wonders. Worth purchasing that dlc too :)
Well if it is even a little bit like DMC then it helps us get over DMC5 :)
Studies and Government links found to cause depression.
Sadly it won't achieve anything, and in the off chance that it did, it's already too late.
Most of the big developers have moved to other countries that provide tax breaks and less government bullcrap; Like Canada which is growing rapidly in terms of their games industry.
The games industry now makes more than the films industry every year in profits and that is a tax loss the government won't miss out on.
To be honest perhaps I was being unfair singling it out as just US, just more of a judgement at the crap they are teaching the next prospective generation of game developers.
I'm studying Games Design now in the UK and obviously ignoring the 3D modelling/animation/etc the theory we are learning is coming first hand from speakers within the industry and our assignments ask us to personally look into areas we are aiming to get into and explore and write about them.
Wasting t...
So this is the sort of crap US game design students have to do as assignments...
I'll pass :P
The first Max Payne for pc is one of my fave games of all time.
I then played the second one and felt the storyline, the strongest point I felt about the series was just poor, at best.
Gameplay was definitely an improvement.
Only the Police commissioner and Mona still alive at the end of the second game, there isn't really much to revisit for a third one within New York.
No inner circle, No gangster bosses, No russians, what else is there left?
I lo...
Perhaps the phrase is so boring to read/hear after the hundreds of times.
I'm sure a couple of months back there was this big comment from the developer stating they would cut out all the bad language:/
Sort of seems like they f*%$£d that idea out of the window.
So I'm sure it will be an 18, some of the melee kills look pretty gruesome either way :P
"One thing I thoroughly agree with though is that Japanese devs do not need to change to Western cultures. Changing DMC like that is actually making matters worse. Always consider the core fanbase and your games should do fine."
I feel it depends on the team and direction they choose.
Team Ninja I feel was a bad choice but a company like Mercury Steam (Spanish) could make a better game taking in the current fan-base for DMC and some newcomers; like seen with...
But for fighting games, all the fans really want is much of the same, except maybe for a few new moves/combos to master, a couple of new characters and depending on the series, more of the storyline revealed to them.
" Sony/MS might as well offer to drop the threats of legal summons for a percentage of the money the hackers make"
How exactly are the hackers making money here :S
I'm sure with enough effort you could create this through PS3/X360 :)
I'd love to see an old western film done like this with RDR :D
Developer is British.
And the original games had a European like feel from a Japanese/eastern point of view.
So I suppose it would be Ninja Theory keeping some of that idea for this new game. *shrugs*
Just re-release the first 3 with updated graphics and output it to HD and I can happily ignore this new one :)
*pew pew pew*...
Oh wait I mean *swipe swipe swipe* if that is more relevant :D
