Could be catastrophic if Disney decide to revoke the gaming rights from Sony, especially after they brought Insomniac.
@2pacalypsenow
MS could have easily removed those versions from sale and made it exclusive, obviously that would be stupid but if they wanted to they could.
@PrinceOfAnger
Ori/Cuphead are coming to Switch, thats what I was referring to. And I think you are right that MS don't own Cuphead but I think they get a say on where it releases because if I remember correctly it was part funded by MS.
Ori, Minecraft and Cuphead were all games MS allowed on Nintendo/Sony platforms, they could have chosen to make the exclusive.
I bet all those developers he visited will be the additional cameos.
Based on the "gameplay" I can tell this game will be very polarized with reviews.
I thought Sony owned them before and then they bought themselves out, weird that they wanted to go back. Spiderman must be what they want to keep doing.
These are facts.
Smash Bros has sold more than Days Gone and Red Dead this year, crazy.
Switch truly is the king of games and sales.
Everyone will ignore the Switch's sales even when it continues to outsell the PS5/Scarlet, excuses are already popping up like "it doesn't count because it's not as powerful" or "it's a handheld you can't compare it".
At the end of the day everyone knows that Nintendo is king of sales and games.
Yep looking like another GOTY contender exclusive to Switch, next will likely be Astral Chain.
Yep, there is no way this isn't coming out at least on PC.
By the time all the parts are released it will be on every platform available.
The Switch would need 2 screens for that, so it's unlikely to ever happen.
Apparently in the books he rarely ever used or had his second sword with him.
I agree they can't compete with Nintendo in terms of exclusives and attach rate.
MS are the only one they can compete with and possibly win.
This is talking about spending more money on timed-exclusive deals with 3rd parties instead of spending it one first party exclusive titles since its more cost effective.
"Sony is concentrating its attention on large software publishers as it gets ready for the next PlayStation, according to executives at Sony and software makers."
I don't see how this is a good thing.
If Sony had been at E3 and shown the same demo of FF7 Square Enix did I have a feeling it would be No. 1 over Cyberpunk.
Cyberpunk only won because everyone watched MS's press conference so everyone saw it and Keanu Reeves. While only dedicated Final Fantasy fans watched SE's conference.
It will be interesting if this eliminates loading when a player fast travels to another location as thats where most loading screens still occur this gen. Most open world game don't have loading when you are just moving around the worlds.
They only needed Pokemon to dominate 2019, Astral Chain, Luigi, Zelda and Fire Emblem are there to just show that they will always have the best and most highest rated exclusives every year.
Gameplay is always the most important, it's the reason Nintendo has the highest rated exclusives.
Really?
Better than KH3, Sekiro and Resident Evil 2. Come on now.
But contracts end and if this falls through I can't see Marvel renewing their game contract with Sony.
Although I do see Sony bowing to Disney in the end the backlash is already pretty big.
