I was reading this and saw the last reason and I was stunned. The article says don't get B3 because it is another shooter but call of duty's have had the same style of gameplay for years.

I know it was a waste of money, but I only realized that when I played on my cousins desktop that he built. Also, every game I wanted to play I could play on high enough settings that made console graphics look dated and that was enough for me to determine that to maintain a gaming computer (Desktop or Laptop) was not worth it just for the graphics. I do like the mod features (I have many on fallout 3 and Oblivion) but I can make do with out them.
I bought a gaming laptop two years ago and I like gaming on consoles better even when my laptop was (I have not upgraded it) considered superb. People say high quality computers and consoles cost roughly the same but a single gpu can cost as much as a console.
What did they take out?

Everyone I know on 360 plays at least a couple of shooters. I think it will look really good on 360, for what it has left in it, but i trust dice.
The 360 and ps3 versions will look very similar, probably similar enough that you have to try to find the differences. it does not matter because dice is going to max out the consoles so if it does not look as well as it does on the ps3 it is because it cant.
360 will look the same or almost the same (very small differences) as the PS3. they have even stated that in an article. Also its DICE, they're not going to half ass it on any Console.
There is a scene after the credits that adds to the narrative.
