The slim does look ugly I may just buy another fat PS3 instead since its the same price and looks better. Also, Cmrbe this isn't about RRoD, xbox etc its about the PS3 so keep on topic and stop trying to start a flamewar.
I doubt that the taking out of LAN will reduce piracy and I does anyone know if piracy is worse today than back in the 80's and 90's?
This could be a response to Facebook buying FriendFeed which I think Twitter and Google were also looking at buying.

I also got a virus alert as well, I'm using Avast, it could be a false alert but the site needs to be informed so it can take down whatever is causing it.
Edit the headline of this article to what it should be.
Not too long till this comes out, can't wait.
I shall be buying this, wonder why Sony is releasing UC2 in the UK on the 23rd instead of the 16th of October which is also a Friday. Hope they announce some preorder bonuses for the UK.
You can't delete your disagrees or agrees even then I suggest to everyone that they don't get too worked up over the agree/disagree system.
Its nearly 40,000 people on the L4D2 boycot the last time I checked.
Firefox is my main browser but it keeps on crashing for me at odd times.
Last.FM has ads to pay the artists/labels for the songs hosted on the website and to pay for the site itself etc.
Valve is still working on the TF2 update, they are planning on finishing the rest of the class updates on the PC - only three more to go before they bundle it on the 360 and release it for a very low price.
Socomer you’re not a developer and I have a feeling you haven't even worked on the 360 let alone know how to code amongst other things. I nor you can't tell whether a console is maxed out and I've seen a ton of comment saying the 360 is maxed out yet Alan Wake, Forza 3, SC:C is showing us that the 360 still has more to go on.
If Microsoft is indeed sharing new tech between its first party devs then I welcome that, good thing Sony provided stiff competition.
Paying for downloadable content would be the most annoying gaming trend and I'm guilty of buying DLC, we need more devs like Criterion/Valve etc releasing free DLC.
If you read through the comments I already explained that Forza allows the player to play how they want to play. Try playing Forza 2 on hard difficulty, no assists on, manual gears, full damage on etc and it will be a damn hard game to play.
Forza allows you customize whether you want it to be a sim or more arcadey. You can turn off damage, use automatic or manual drive, ABS etc can be changed as well.
I know the trailer that you’re describing and it was clear that the people playing it was playing it with assists on, damage off; difficulty was probably easy or normal.
Why does everyone in this comment section get so up in arms about a PR guy, seriously, it should be about the games itself. If you think Forza 3 is looking good then rent or buy it, on the other hand if you don't like it or think it looks lame then don't bother with it.
Even then, this is just more PR, happens alot in nearly every single industry and will continue for a long time.
Isn't Sucker Punch a first party developer?
If they are then wouldn't that mean they would only have to concentrate on one platform.
Valve on the other hand is working on Steam, updating TF2, updating the Source engine, working on L4D1 content, maybe some DoDS content (very unlikely though) and HL2:EP3 which they have said is suppose to be quite big and ambitomous which is why its taking two years to make. As far as I know they only have 190+ people working at Valve...
Can't wait to get both GT5 and Forza 3. I need to buy a wheel for both my 360 and PS3. =/
Damage is needed in a sim however there are many other features which are needed to make a sim good.
