There are many shooters before Resistance 2 so I can call it generic, there were also many other games before Gears of War which has used a cover system so why don't you guys get over yourselfs and just play the damn game.

Crysis is a game in which it was marketed horribly, they said you needed a state of the art machine to run it which really does not help in getting customers to buy a product now does it, add to the fact that the engine while it could produce insane graphics/physics etc it was horrible optimized and even on high end PC's it was stuttering.

Seen 5 gameplay videos of the leaked Fallout 3 it looks good but it also looks like an improved version of Oblivion with guns.
I would to point out that there are a few reasons why the PS3 is not hacked:
1. Blu-ray optical drives for the PC are still very expensive
2. Rewriteable Blu-Ray discs cost alot more than DVD's
3. The PS3 is pretty expensive, I don't think alot of people would want to brick a £300-£400 console.

I've got Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit and it really isn't that bad, most hardware works with it, most software also works with it just download and install the newest drivers so everything can work.

Well, I did say a day or two ago I wanted to see another crapstorm from either side and I've gotten it today. I do find it funny that people say this game is now crap because it isn't exclusive, are you guys really that angry/sad that a game went mutiplatform?
I know its off topic sorta but the Source engine has dynamic sounds, depending on how near or far away you are and I love that so cool. This game looks awesome though can't wait to pick it up for my PS3, just wish there was an open beta.

All of those games were also bundled with the PS3 so thats a big reason as you why hey sold quite a bit.
I actually laughed when MS annouced FF13 for the 360 because I knew how big of a storm it would cause, if they annouced FF13 Versus for the 360 then I would be laughing.

Well you guys must of been surpised when Gears of War was in the top 10 for a few weeks when it was released in Japan. Japan may not like FPS/TPS games but there are people who will like them, stop trolling and just wait for MS's keynote.
I reckon that its a talk about some new technology they have been working on for a new engine that they might of been building. However it could be a map editor, a new game or something else.
Can't wait to pick this up for my PC, looks like an awesome game.
