I really hope the next generation has a lot less predatory practices and games that are designed to milk the most money out of its players. It's annoying because the way games have been monetised has made the gaming industry the largest grossing media format, but to pay £50 (or $60 in the U.S) for a game to then have to pay for microtransactions or the 'rest of the game' is a joke.
It always felt to me like they needed to focus on what made the first two games great and just expand on them for the 3rd title, but instead they added more half-baked features and elements.
Definitely agree but you lost me with Halo 5. That was my least favourite Halo game (out of the Halo numbered titles)
Fable II was probably the best of the series. It had its flaws but overall was definitely a step in the right direction. Fable III was a huge misstep in comparison
I would definitely buy an Xbox Series X if a 'proper' Fable sequel were to be revealed!
Thanks for that. I agree, definitely like the art style, but that's it. Nobody wanted Fable Legends!
Top 5:
1) Little Devil Inside
2) Demon's Souls
3) Spider-Man: Miles Morales
4) Horizon 2
5) Resident Evil 8: Village
Although, so little is know about some other games, its hard to rate them
This man tells the truth! Little Devil Inside looked amazing and sounds even better, the majority of the games were good but you know what you're getting with the vast majority of them. Little Devil Inside looks to be a fresh, innovative, and new experience; which is becoming increasingly rare in the current gaming climate!

I think it was the perfect way to do a gameplay reveal. It was real. Imagine if no man's sky (vanilla) or Anthem had showed themselves off in a similar way. I personally think it was brave and smart as it showed 2 things a number of developers lack today, which is honesty & transparency
I don't feel the game was overrated but it's far from perfect. The new additions, features and mechanics were welcome (maybe except the weapon degradation system) but I felt that they removed too much of what made previous Zelda games great. The bosses were all awful (Spoiler: apart from the DLC Monk boss), the Divine beasts were a poor replacement for actual dungeons, there was not a good enough variety of enemies, the story was a joke and the removal of obtaining extra pieces of gea...
True
Why can't publishers and developers just release full f*#king games anymore with none of this microtransactions bulls*£T?
Skyward sword above breath of the wild and Ocarina of time? Well...
I think this will be at LEAST decent. Playground games do develop quality titles and a fresh pair of eyes is definitely what Fable needs. Fable is one of my all-time favourite franchises (at least conceptually) but I always felt like Lionhead kept adding new features to the formula with each new iteration instead of adding depth to the existing ones. Very excited for this one!
