Cross game chat is convenient.
I would rather use my headset to talk to some of my friends than have my phone and headset on at the same time.
I don't really view that as a win. People I have added on facebook and on PSN constantly have spam posts about "I just got XXXXX Trophy on XXXX game". gets annoying after a while.

Lack of creativity I suppose? There's a lot of pokemon this gen that are based on the older ones and just given a few aesthetic changes.

Tests =/= video games.
These are video games. No way in hell that any form of media will ever be perfect. A 10/10 simply means that the game is outstanding.
Essentially many reviewers use 10/10 as "this game is a game that you have to buy once in your lifetime."

Have the ability to play pokemon offline, then connect online to a server and then continue the adventure online.
Would be like those cheap toys they try to sell to kids, except much better, they could possibly make it equivalent to WoW if they wanted to.

But the thing is, there are other options that the writer can choose from, which is why I feel my comparison fits better into this situation.
I mean if all we had were shooters and violent video games, then yes, yours would be 100% correct.
