Maybe for a Sony one but you can get them for much cheaper than $40 at Walmart, at least I did I think I only paid about $20 for mine.
Agreed, if the jump in power isn't huge it'll be almost pointless and considering I doubt they'll wanna sell at huge losses I don't see them be all the powerful if they're released in 2012.
Hell I remember Ps2 memory cards were insanely priced when they first came out and they were only 8mb but people forget. For my psp when I had one I just bought a 3rd party 4gb for fairly cheap (admittedly years after launch) after that I just bought an adapter to use micro-sd cards which were pretty cheap and I already had a few micro-sd cards so it was all good.
I don't like how they're using a proprietary memory format though, I just hope they allow 3rd party compa...
Same here I'll buy it used. I don't doubt it'll be a decent game as I've liked all of NT's games so far this gen but DMC holds a special place in my gaming heart as it along with Soul Reaver 2 got me back into gaming. Before I played them I was pretty much just playing Racing games and skateboarding games on my ps2.

I'm with blitz I don't care if it goes multi-platform as long as the Ps3 version doesn't suffer...oh yea and as long as it doesn't make it take longer to release. I'm all for as many people as possible being able to play a game though as it always improves chances for more games and more money for studios so they don't go under (I'm talking in general though as we all know FFvs13 will sell like crazy in Japan alone).

Kinda cool for anyone getting the 360 version and it's a good way for SE to give back to xbox players for the sub-par job they did 13.
It's good though that it's only a weapon as I don't really see exclusive items like that as a problem...it's when you get exclusive story related things is when it becomes unfair.
I think most of us have learned not to expect a video game adaption to even be anywhere close to the source material. When I watch one I just try to enjoy them as a movie, rarely do I enjoy them but it does happen and it's easier to enjoy them if you're not constantly saying to yourself "this is nothing like the game".
Unlike the author I still enjoy the fist MK movie, I even enjoyed the SMB/PoP/RE/Silent Hill movies...as a gamer I want to rage that they cha...
The game looks pretty sweet just like an Unreal or Quake game, hopefully it does decent.

He's actually pretty good at changing his voice up, I think it's just a lot of devs like the sound of his actual voice and the type of persona he pulls off with it so they have him use it.

Make Ultimate Spider-Man 2 in a similar fashion as the first and it should turn out decent, not saying someone couldn't mess it up but so far it's been IMO the best Spidey game to date. To this day it's still the best Treyarch game also IMO.

Well...yea if you could get everything else for free like Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/Acces s to Netflix(a paid service already). Basically what you're saying is you would rather pay for those services instead of get them free just because it add's more value to XBL...logic is flawed.
Batman was Rocksteady and pretty sure Warner own them, yea SE own 25% of them but that doesn't really count IMO. Forgot about Just Cause 2 though that game was pretty sweet, also didn't know they even announced Thief 4!!!
Nah he's prolly right they've been doing that when they hand it off...Dead Rising 2, DmC, and pretty sure the new RE game will run on a different engine as well. I think it's stupid though since the MT Framework is a pretty damn good engine (as in they can actually run a DMC game at 60fps). I'm not saying those games used the UE (besides the new DMC) but they didn't use the previous engines made by Capcom themselves.
IMO the last good game SE made was Crisis Core, besides that I don't think I've enjoyed anything from the SE side of the company since the PS2 era....and Eidos hasn't really brought anything to the table but the new Hitman and Tomb Raider games look good.
I agree I liked RE5 and it was mainly for the co-op, but it didn't feel like an RE game other than you couldn't move while shooting. I believe the Racoon city game that's coming out is co-op (4 players?) and while I'm looking forward to that too I know it won't be a traditional RE game either.
My favorite opening for a game was the one for Soul Reaver, even though it was all CGI.
The only thing I didn't like about the ports was the reduced gore in NGS2, other than that it was just the fact that NGS didn't include the first 3 NG games after collecting all the scarabs. Admittedly though I only played Ninja Gaiden Black a few times, I did complete NG2 on the 360 though.
I think he is talking about the 3rd games in the franchises as they are rated 92 and 91.
You're right though it's all opinion, I personally like the Uncharted series better over-all because I actually enjoy the story to them but not so much Gears but I do love the gameplay for both and horde mode for gears is my favorite horde type mode in any game so far.
