I might be able to get both. If tlou multiplayer drops at launch I would have to prioritize that. So if I only have money for one console then I need to go with a game that excites me. l like xbox but not halo so either a big suprise (or timed exclusivity) or apex legends letting me play with my og skins has to tickle my fancy. My son will get xbox just because he prefers to 3rd party on that.

i dont know if its too late but gamestop has gone digital now, you can buy from their website and you get power up rewards points too which is pretty good.

the only difference is the initial purchase of rechargeable batteries for the xbox, since you can charge both when you sleep, and if you play for a really long session and dont want to move at all then xbox is ideal, so both have advantages perhaps
