I completely agree with you, heck 90% of these retails corps face the same problem, however this is N4G.com and that's a gaming site speaking about a gaming related business, so there for all the hate goes towards GameSpot specifically. ;)

Yea, absolutely, it all depends on the employee I think. All the stores I've personally been to I've seen nothing but slackers, or managers that don't even love gaming.
Yea, I'm going to officially comment first here saying that GameStop has the worst business model, with employee's being the worst nagging sales men out of many business out there. You go into a store and some of them know a bit about gaming and some of them are just clueless, and the ones that do know some, suggest the worst games to customers.
Now the average mommy customer at GameStop has no idea what she's doing so she gets lied to a whole bunch just to see if she'll fall for...
