Steam is a rare service, in concept you don't think people would love or enjoy it as much but Valves, great service and goal towards quality is something to respect.
Don't hate something so beautiful you tool, you only probably like first person shooters and give nothing else a try. It's a great game, something innovative and quite beautiful.

I found it to be fun as well, but technically it could have been a lot better for todays technology in games.
