Why?
While Sony invsted billions in inventing the laser chip/reader whatever it was, then m$ leaned back in their chair and waited patiencly, and when the press started to complain about the lack of hd materiale support, they released a little "patch" to cover the little wound they suffered.
Iam a ps3 fanboy by heart, but this just seems most logical!
