Storylines are important to give you an incentive to keep playing in some cases but some games that are action based should be all about the gameplay.

If you want the ultimate game of Tactics play Arma II online because everyone on there is dedicated to tactics when the time is right, Ive even moved in formations with squads of real players on there, only for me to laze...

I dont like it because after the main missons, what was there to do in that game? nothing, they took out all the fun extras like planes etc were you could spend hours for sake of what? realism?
Seriously their character Niko was the worst yet in GTA, those constant phonecalls were supposed to be fun minigames?

I cant understand people like this....Activision make some good games especially with thier small studios, COD is the money maker so they can fund other products.
