The only problem is that there is no way to correlate increased aggression or being uncooperative with peers directly with video games. That's s very slippery slope to go down. I thought this was pretty obvious. It will be just like all the past final fantasys. In almost every game you had to slowly progress through the world. It wouldn't make sense to have a completely open world like skyrim for a final fantasy game.

What you need to understand is that the gameplay as child noctis is basically a tech demo. Those things you stepped on we're just to show different aspects that will be in the final game and the crystal collecting was there just to give you something to do I guess. The part that's the main game is the combat against the iron giant.
