Pay to win? You can unlock some stuff faster if you don't have the time to spare and play the game, I know a couple of friends who might do this, but otherwise you're just shortening your total gameplay time, which again could be fine for some (not for me).
The DRM thing sucks though, as we're always trying to squeeze as much as we can out of our hardware whenever possible.
I would prefer being able to install any 3rd party app of my own choice on ios than "alternative" payment options. The 30% fees is there to support their store for a reason, can't get all the benefits for free!
The fuse option that we saw seems to adds up some extra possible hit, so I guess I'll keep fusing stuff at all times!
So if I understand correctly, devs will be implementing my unique nft skin in a new game, so they'll have to do new animations, new weapons, possibly new effects and all of that work for every new game using that unique nft that I'll be the only one using it ever? How much will it cost devs to do this and will they really do it? And since I already paid for said skin ages ago, they won't be doing any more money off that piece, but they'll have to work for me to use my skin in ...
Cheapest option would be to play it via xcloud if you have a great internet speed. I've been able to enjoy some of MS titles for an extremely low price without the need for an xbox since they added the Xcloud option.
There's always a chance any of those devs gets mobilized/drafted in the military and needs to kill by order or be killed. Hopefully it doesn't happen!
Anyone who buys the yearly sport title(s) basically just need game pass just for mlb!
I got a ps5 (and an old PC) and I've been enjoying most of the titles via Xcloud for anything thats is xbox only (or that my PC can't run). MS definitly got a new customer with me, even if I don't have an Xbox, the options they're offering is amazing.
Out of all the Activision lineup, the only game I can see on PS5 is Call of Duty and nothing else, but expect to see maybe a more early release on Xbox and lots of additional content. As for Diablo 4, Overwatch 2 and anything else, there's absolutely no way they're on PS5.
I would gladly play some of those games on PC, but the GPU market isn't the best right now. I wouldn't buy an Xbox for sure since I'm a big PS fan, but I can tell you that MS got a new customer ...
If they had to go with a third party character, Rayman or Crash for sure.
For first party, I always tought that Wolf Link with Midna on top would've been a great character, but again there's many TLOZ characters in the game already.
Just pay a 1-2 month xcloud gamepass sub, finish the game and move on. No need to buy a 2nd system with this option (plays great for SP games)
I'll be surely playing this on Xcloud via gamepass when it comes out. I'm guessing it'll be available day one like all the other first party MS titles.
To be honest, I'm super happy that MS offers a streaming option for an incredibly low price! even if you're a Switch/PS fan, MS gave us an easy an accessible way to access their games. I don't plan on buying an Xbox (PC would be nice, when the GPU are available...), so this cloud-model makes it that t...
Just bought it today! will be playing this as soon as its launchable from the store :)
It's also coming to PC later on, so maybe wait for that version instead. Maybe not as detailed than World, but the PC version should give a great graphic fidelity combined with 60 fps if thats what you need.
I dont mind waiting, to be honest the extra money from MS will help them to make sure its well optimized and by putting more effort one console at a time. Everybody wins in the end. We waited a bit for ps4 to get it after xbox one, so lets just do the same this time around.
This title seems much more ambitious than the first one, hyped to see what they'll come up with!
Super excited to get sephiroth!
The next character hopefully isn't a sword fighter.
Crash, spyro, rayman, geno are some that I would love to see
Just like my pc games, I'm hoping we can run most games in 1440p, 144hz( a guy can dream!) and a solid 60fps
I've been enjoying many Xbox Exclusives via Android's gamepass and to be honest, the performance (input latency) is amazing!
For singleplayer games like ES, MS got a new gamepass customer with me. Actually gives us PS fans a chance to finally play some of the exclusives that MS has to offer!
That "beyond the Hardware" mindset will certainly bring them new customers in various ways, I'll be keeping that subscription as long as there's great...
Looking great for MS! with the bethesda aquisition, it probably made the decision easier for some.
I'm still getting a PS5, but I welcome the new Android GamePass cloud for letting me play lots of games that I never was able to experience before (Forza Horizon 4 especially!). Very impressed by the very low input latency (there's definitly some lag, but mostly negligable for singleplayer games)
They won't get a hardware purchase from me, but th...
@IRetrouk
That's usually how it goes when you buy a budget hardware. I don't expect many Series S owners to buy extra storage, they'll be just fine with the initial storage.
Most ports on PC looks absolutely fantastic, so even if there's a timing difference in releases, as long as they take full advantage of what our current PCs can do, I think PC gamers won't mind as much as long as the end products plays great.
Online multiplayer games and franchises that has or will have a Tv show/movie coming out should be prioritized in the future PC ports list of games in my opinion, to ride the hype/marketing waves on all platforms while the inte...
