There is *NO* PS3 code in the game *AT ALL*. What they found is the ini file used to configure the Unreal 3 engine, which was licensed for the game. The ini file has parameters for PC, 360 and PS3 *by default*.

Several other games using the engine have all three left in.

In short, it's meaningless and any game developer that's worked on UE3 can tell you that.

They aren't working on a new SSX game. Alex Ward and several other people at Criterion are huge fans of SSX and it's been snowing like crazy over in England these days. They're too busy with Need for Speed for SSX anyways.

EA already HAS put out a console. It was the 3DO. Trip Hawkins was the head of EA and they spun off the console group into their own company and Trip moved over to head them up. They then licensed the console specs and formats out to various companies such as Panasonic, Goldstar and so on.

Your blog has something wrong. Burnout DOES indeed support 1080i. They released it as part of an update early in 2008.
