Yeah, maybe if you're not a fan and know absolutely nothing about the franchise.
Honestly how can they justify making this game? All the real DMC fans hate it, a handful of people are"interested".
The old plot had not hit a wall, there were some great directions they could have taken it, a lot of people thought DMC-5 would be the last game in the franchise if not second from last, because they expected it to reintroduce Vergil and Mundus, and al...
Completely agree, Capcom have lost touch with the fans, We want RE to return to its roots not get closer and closer to becoming a Gears clone/ street fighter clone.
And the scares in RE-5 were non existent, So far the scariest thing to come out of capcom is the new Dante design...(cringe)
Exactly, just like DMC popularised the 3rd person action genre that God of War uses... People have such short memories.
Why take a "Totally New Approach"? RE-4 was great! We want more of that right?, but with more scares and zombies, and less steroids... Right now I have a bad feeling about RE-6, but I guess it's way to early to comment since we know nothing about it.
What about Resident Evil Dead Aim, was that not Capcom?
The problem is, a lot of the current gen gamers are just kids or big kids, AKA childish adults (not ALL, but a lot) who get frustrated when they can't do something that requires they develop a little skill or patience, so rage quit and send their controller flying across the room.
Not all games should be hard but damn it! some should be!
If you suck at some thing that's your fault not the fault of the thing you are sucking at, either get better or stop what yo...
Xenoblade Chronicles is amazing! It's this gens epic RPG we've all been waiting for, or at least that's my opinion so far =)
@newmonday
Sorry, I never played the original so I can't say. But it is one hell of a game, though the western voice acting could be better.
Its going to take more than just a return to the old Dante to save this game, NT are changing everything that made the old games great!
This game will flop if they try to sell it.
Wow! and just when I thought I couldn't hate this game anymore.
Its a shame though, I really wanted dual circle pads. I mean we got dual analogue sticks for consoles 2 gens ago! handhelds are in desperate need of them especially considering how handheld games are resembling last gen console games.
I hope its not true =/ But I could imagine it happening.
2 circle pads would make a lot of sense considering the handheld games are getting much more complex and stepping into last gen console territory, we desperately need a dual analogue stick set up imo.
We all wanted to be Dante in DMC... but Tameem's just taking the piss.
They don't really deserve anything, they basically said "Screw you, we're doing what we want" to the fans, so we're saying "knock yourselves out, but don't expect us to buy it".
It's because we are real fans that we're all outraged by this, It's not even DMC anymore its lost all of the appeal the old games had.
Imo, Capcom Invented Nero to replace Dante, but it didn't go as planed. Dante is just too much of ...
Could you imagine Kratos new look? waist long hair, body piercings and a Hello Kitty tattoo, lol.
The kid sounds mental, he needs to be institutionalised for his own sake and more importantly everyone else's.
I personally see no need for Demon's Souls 2, Dark Souls is pretty much the sequel but hush, we can't call it that.
I honestly want to know what the appeal of new Dante's look is?
Is it cool now to look like a meth addict who listens to bad music and doesn't wash?.
The way things are looking I wont be getting a 3DS until Im absolutely certain its the final product, and wont be replaced a few months down the line by a newer model design that should have been the launch model!
So going by Nintendo's track record, I don't think I'll be getting one anytime soon...
So basically If I buy a 3DS now, in less than a year Nintendo will put out a new model that will make my hypothetical 3DS inferior ?
Now I'm really glad I didn't buy a 3DS.
There's a difference between milking a franchise and continuing on making a great franchise, sad that street fighter falls into the former.
