Just throwing this out here but Hakoom didn't "find" this out. He just made a news article about it. People on PS3 Trophy websites most likely knew about this as they have a look over the trophy lists all the time when they get released.

Personally I think the reason they were booed was simply put that they have no reason to be excited. Yeah you revealed a new character cool, but there is a long time match which will entertain us for hours, get off the stage and let us watch it!

Well this is just a thought, but a pulse will eventually dissipate after a certain distance from its point of origin. So for instance if someone used the device from the North Pole, people would be affected on the South Pole but not greatly. It would all depend on how much energy was originally input into the device. So it could work. People on the other end as mentioned above would have been put into a coma or knocked out due to the blast and their power would remain.

I think your missing the point here. When Hakoom posts something it is always "him" reaching a milestone. Its always yeah I got [insert number of platinum] or [total trophies unlocked]! Its not Ni No Kuni helpful tips and trophy information.
Look at the picture, he highlights his 500th, his name present, his website present, and the title filled with ego. HHG was the same here and he got banned.
