The graphics dose not have to be all handled by the rsx processor because the cell processor can handle a significant amount of the graphical workload off the rsx processor without effecting the cell processor's other tasks.This is call parallel processing & the amount memory dose not effect the PS3's performance well running in parallel neither.You obviously don't completely understand how this systems hybrid architecture operates.

There is no need for PS4 for quite a while still because PS3 still has plenty of horse power left under the hood & developers haven't exhausted all the creative ways to utilize PS3's hardware functionalities,features & accessories.Besides 90% of the developers need to at least brake even in software sales on the majority of their game projects that they have heavily invested in this gen before they can start on next gen game projects!

Developers have the option run their games upscaled at 720p or 1080p on PS3 or run them natively at 720p or 1080p on PS3 because PS3 games run off blu rays which allows developers to store hd textures or sud hd textures so in reality it's the developers call.For everybody that disagrees with this notion are complete morons & need to go educate themselves on video game graphics design & video game software programming.
The fuss is it's $60 a pop for these games on console so console gamers want the game running in top form on their console of choice the best that it can because they want their moneys worth,have been spoiled with exclusives & won't settle for less!
As a console owner i can say playstation 3 still has plenty of horse power left under the hood just look at the jump between uncharted 2 to 3.Also console haters & skeptics said the exact same thing said about PS2 last gen until gran turismo 4,tekken 5,god of war ect.. came out with in the console's 7th or 8th year.So it just goes to show a lot of console haters & skeptics don't know what the hell their talking about & need to keep their mouths closed.
A lot of console haters & skeptics will always down play consoles 90% of the time even when consoles release multi platform games that are closely matched to the pc versions they won't give consoles much credit if any at all!

I actually talk to somebody in software at ibm over the phone & asked if sony had contracted them to build a similar architecture to the cell processor & the person responded with a yes & i also asked if it was possibly for sony's next playstation console & the person responded with a yes so that indicates it's going to be incredibly powerful as the cell processor if not more & possibly for sony's next playstation console.
