Halo not having offline multiplayer is definitely a nail in the coffin for offline multiplayer. One of the few games that had offline multiplayer guaranteed. A lot of people are going to buy Halo 5 and be disappointed that it doesn't have offline multiplayer. I still feel like this is going to be the best Halo ever. Even without it.
But I really hope they bring it back with the next Halo game so we can forget these dark times for Offline Multiplayer Halo.
Lol maybe 5% of Halo fans play halo just for the single player.
You know nothing about the Halo community man.
I absolutely don't agree that the majority thinks that gaming is for kids. Unless the majority are over 50 years old. People who came from a time when videogames were seen as toys.
Yes...I don't care for it.
I honestly think it would end racism.
Knowing that your ancestors were slaves as little as a dozen decades ago causes nothing but hatred same with white slave owner ancestors you unconsciously develop a superiority complex.
All you need to know is that we came here from Africa. If they want to know exactly how and what happened then they can look it up if they're interested. So I'm not saying it should be erased from ex...
I honestly think that they should stop teaching about slavery. The sooner we forget about it. The sooner racism will end. If they want to know about slavery there's always the library and internet.
But I don't think it should be a subject in school anymore. Kids are kids. Instead of feeling bad for the slaves they unconsciously develop a superiority complex. And black kids will start feeling inferior. Around 11-13 years old(when they start actually learning shit including hist...
What kinda bullshit is this?
I hated these parts about Black Flag and AC3.
It made it not feel like AC at all. The cities were small because of it. And free running took a backseat.
I'm afraid the same will happen here with Syndicate. But with carriages instead. But since its still a big city. I'm hopeful.
GTA can't be better... You can't compare them at all. They are fundamentally different games. That's like saying Forza 6 is better than Halo 5... They're completely different games. Only thing they have in common is that they are both open world sandbox games. That's it.
Sequels of games rarely win GOTY. It's usually new IP's that win GOTY.
But even so. I think GOTY will be between Quantum Break and Uncharted.
Maybe ScaleBound or ReCore if they nail the gameplay both seem to have pretty ambitious ideas and ambitious ideas dont always turn out the way we expect. Guerilla makes boring games that look good so I don't expect much from Horizon except for crazy visuals.
They don't own comcept or armature, They do own the IP though.
I'm not even talking about viewership. What are you trying to say man?
My point is that watching let's plays is like watching someone play with their toys. I don't see the fun in that. It's completely absurd in my eyes.
Watching reality TV shows is different. You're still watching someone who leads a completely different life than yours. It's no different than reading books or watching movies Or PLAYING videogames.
Watching let's plays is like watching a reality TV show of someone watching a reality TV show.
Do you get where I'm going with this? You're watching someone else have fun with something you can easily do yourself. It's like watching someone...
I agree with Kimmel. Except when its competitive gaming. Watching let's plays is a new level of absurdity. I'm dumbfounded by the popularity of them. My lil brother used to watch more games than he plays. I managed to fix that by buying him a bunch of games.
The difference between watching sports and watching videogames. Is that there is more effort involved into playin sports and not everyone can do it. EVERYBODY can play videogames. Maybe not competitively but stil...
What did they bring exactly that was not of interest to the gamers and consumers? Besides the always online thing.
Are you blaming DLC and broken games on Microsoft?
I don't think it is. Every third party controller looks like an Xbox controller. PC gamers use Xbox controllers. Pro gamers use Xbox controllers. Oculus comes with Xbox One controller.
If it was anything else they would have used Nintendo or Playstation controllers.
It's very easy to say that Xbox Controllers are the best. And you would be right.
This is TGS... I hate to say it but Nobody cares about Xbox in Japan so they didn't even bother putting it there, or maybe they will reveal it at the Sony conference. It's very unlikely that it's PS exclusive in the west since it sold well on both platforms.
Games are getting bigger but they are also getting much easier to make. A slightly above average 8 year old can make a game nowadays. With tools like Unity and Unreal Engine. Games nowadays are easier to make than ever. The hardest part is actually getting it to be played by people.
You like the one thing that EVERYBODY hates about destiny?
I think more people liked Halo 4 than there are those who didn't. People were complaining that the multiplayer strayed too far from what Halo used to be. And they fixed that with Halo 5. They managed to evolve the multiplayer without turning it into COD. And the campaign was the best Halo campaign ever. There are some truly amazing people at 343.
A halo game every three years is fine. As long as there are Halo fans I don't see why they should stop.
Halo is also mainly a Multiplayer game. They can't just abandon an active fanbase.
