Wow....spoiler warning next time please?
Why is this even news? The 360 has a larger install base, so obviously there's always more potential sales on that system than the PS3.
I haven't touched my 360 in about a month; too busy with Uncharted 2.
I wish I could find a reason to switch on my 360, I really could.
There's basically just too many good games being released for the PS3 right now, which partly explains the poor Borderlands sales.
They just couldn't resist.
Why ruin an amazing trailer with your corporate BS...
I was quite annoyed to hear this, seeing as I've heard that Valve make good games.
Then I see what this guy looks like, and I'm just thinking - 'He's there boss!? You know what, I'm not that bothered. Let him have his Xbox 360.'
So, Microsoft, any thoughts on implementing it in any other countries?
Hmmm?
No?
OK.
Either this game sold so well, that MM didn't need to make any more money from it, or it sold so poorly, the only way to shift copies is to reduce the price.
No.
Putting aside the fact that this is a stupid article created by some random gamers, I'll focus on answering the question.
Yes. Right now you're not seeing it being used because of the multiplatform developers who have to develop for other consoles. If those developers did make the PS3 version superior, then that'd be a waste of time for them, seeing as there is no need to - It's still going to sell. If they tried to increase the overall amount of content, then there's a chance it...
Well, to be honest, a lot needs to be done for the Wii to be better than Xbox Live - At the moment, even a cell/mobile phone has more online features than a Nintendo Wii.
Its a win-win situation.
If this game is good, then we, the gamers, will have ourselves, a good game.
If this game is terrible, then we, as gamers, can deem this article and any further articles from hiphopgamershow.com as completely BS.
Hmmm, is the question mark in the headline *really* necessary?
So that little paragraph was meant to tell me that Sony had 'lost another exclusive'?
I think we've had that news before. Chances are, its coming to Playstation platforms other than the PS3. If its the PC its going to, well, since when has availability of a game on the PC stopped it being called a '360 exclusive'?
I was never into turn-based RPGs myself, so I wasn't too interested in Final Fantasy 13, but when Square announced they'd release it on the 360, I was just put off completely.
I don't want to buy a game knowing its potential and quality has been restricted due to technical limitations of the Xbox 360.
'the sound effects are generic'
WTF!? How can sound effects be 'generic'? 'Generic' compared to what, exactly?
Sounds less like a professional review and more like an angry fanboy rant.
Oh great, another opinion worded like a fact with a question mark so fanboys can use it to jump to conclusions.
The Wii's cheap and accessible, so its selling alot.
They're not really competing, seeing as PS2 was of last-gen, and Wii is of quote, 'next-gen', end quote. In terms of market...it may be competing, seeing as now PS2 has been dropped to a low price, Sony are probably targeting the casual gamer.
Maybe this just suggests that there are more quality games for PS3 other than Killzone 2. Besides, apart from the hype from gaming websites, its marketing campaign was pretty poor, and its still not really a household name like 'Call of Duty' is now. People these days aren't willing to try new things so they stick with their well-known and well-established franchises such as CoD or Medal of Honour.
Depends if Sony want profit or sales.
And its funny how the next article is 'Confirmed: No PS3 Price Cut', or something.
How's it supposed to 'utilise 100% of the PS3's power' if its being developed for 360 as well?
Yeah, cos we should definitely listen to Valve's 100% totally non-biased opinion when it comes down to consoles!
