The problem that female "pro" gamers have is and always has been that they just aren't very good.
Going back to counterstrike eswc where they had the all female comp, or quakecon with the female championships there is a reason for this.
The top tier females are routinely beaten by actual pro's, I have no idea why this is but it is simply a fact.

Lol at the guy that thinks 30 fps 1080 is buttery smooth... If i dip below 80 on my pc i can notice it. 60 to me is the bare minimum to be playable. I had to specifically unlock la noire for the pc because it was completely unplayable at 30 fps.
I suppose its all in the eye of the beholder, but once you are used to higher frame rates its impossible to go back.
You just argued their point? the current consoles aren't powerful enough to pump out 60 fps at 1080p in crysis like a pc is.
Yes there are 60 fps 1080p games but don't kid yourself. Not all games are created equal and there are few that pump the physics / shading / lightning that a crytec game does... this is something that the average console kiddie doesn't understand.
There is a lot more going on in the background to run crysis at 60 fps 108...

I always think its funny that people take offense to a dev saying PC is lightyears beyond a console. It is simply a fact.
When a console is launched the hardware inside is already at least 2 years old compared to the most modern pc. THrow in a 7 year console life span and by the end you are left with something that is not even comparable to what can be seen on a modern pc.

I dunno how anyone can stomach playing a TES game on a console anyway. I'll stick with 100+ fps and HD textures.
I cancelled my pre order. Until I find out if the 30 fps lock is true or not. If there is really a 30fps lock then it just shows that there was no work done on this port and frankly I can't play games at 30 fps. It's not elitist its just extremely choppy and lessens the experience for me.
This is unbelievable. I was literally minutes away from pre ordering but there is no way I will buy the game now. I can't play a game at 30 fps, on top of how jerky it feels it gives me a headache. It's not elitist its just a fact. Play every game between 60-120 fps with a 120hz monitor and you can't play a 30 fps game. What a shame.
Whoever wrote this is a moron. Ram after a certain point is basically useless. The difference between 8 and 16 gigs of ram in gaming benchmarks is non existent
That wasn't my complaint. My complaint was that the game looked like utter crap. I didn't drop below 120 fps ever with every setting maxed my pc is more stressed running paint. I don't see why they can't include a high res texture pack for those of us that aren't living in 2005.
I know the game is carebeared up blizzard style but i was really disappointed. I logged in with my i7-950 @ 4ghz and gtx 680 and for the first time ever my 680 actually downclocked itself WHILE gaming. I had every setting maxed locked at 120fps... the textures look to be half a decade old even on max settings.
I understand blizzard is no longer going to produce something that doesn't appeal to the masses but good lord at least give the people that don't have a 10 ye...
LoL is the WoW of the dota genre, that's just a fact. It is a completely dumbed down version of dota/hon that is catering toward the participation trophy generation. Dota has a much more difficult learning curve and will turn a lot of players off.
I laughed at the load time part. On pc with my ssd i switch from any location to another in under 0.5 seconds. I was just complaining to a friend that I couldn't even read the hints. Load lag is hardly a complaint on a 200$ 6 year old console. My gf was playing on ps3 and I felt bad for her. It doesn't even look like the same game..
As soon as I read the title of this article I started laughing and then after a few minutes crying that anyone could possibly think that.
The COD series has become a joke. The absolute bottom rung of the shooter genre. Its the same game re-released with a new map pack every year. Lets see... whats going to be better a game from arguably the most in depth series ever with a 5 year development cycle, or a game that is recycled every 9-12 months.
From reading the title of this article I think its pretty obvious that the person who wrote it didn't play origins. I was foaming at the mouth for da2 and I'm usually pretty forgiving on sequels... but comparing da:origins to da2 is a joke. I honestly think that DA2 is one of the worst sequels I have ever played... its pretty obvious that the dev cycle for da:o was 5 times longer.

This is one of my favorite games of all time, my top 10 list for sure. It isn't for everyone by any means, but it really really moved me.
The atmosphere, story, and music are absolutely amazing. I'm definitely going to be buying this again
I agree with a previous poster, chronological play-through would be very nice to add.
