Can't say I am surprised at all. I saw the demo videos and it looked horrible. Did you even see the demo of CHRIS gameplay? BANG BANG BANG BANG like a Michael Bay movie. Granted it was a demo but the AI sucked, the game looked extremely linear more so than other RE games and it just looked plain awful!

Hell no! Even with all that Windows 7 and upcoming Windows 8 money, even Microsoft can't pull a $99 launch and I really doubt this Contract thing is going to work out. I am sorry but that's just wrong! I mean, NINTENDO's releasing a maximum a year or two ahead of the XBOX 8 and Next generation Playstation and the difference should NOT be there at all. Actually to be honest, I am surprised by this. I'd always thought PS4 would have been in development right from the launch of PS3. This stuff takes time, experimenting with new ideas, seeing what's the best way to get the price right and still have a powerful machine, get feedback from studios around the globe, a lot of pre-alpha brain storming and what not.
SONY is doing something extra-ordinary for sure. This whole GAIKAI thing is huge but I believe Microsoft can jump on this and make COD their biggest exclusive including other IPs. Still, I don't see Activision Bliz. filing bankcruptcy.

I finished playing Mass Effect 3 this yesterday and I got really immersed especially when *** SPOILER ALERT**
You get into the beam all injured and go find that little reaper boy or something and then he lets you decide what you want to do. Shepard ended up shooting something and that's it! The Normandy SR2 lands on some strange planet with some kid in the end asking for one more story...*

Looks ugly but that is also because of the picture quality. Ugly or not, this thing is SLIM!!!! Gonna space a lot of space for some people and will of course consume less power. $149 and $199 PS3 confirmed this TGS?
I know $149 is pushing it but M$ got the whole $99 Xbox thing going for them and Sony must have planned something to counter that?
