I think they tested waters with the XBOX360 release of FF13. Microsoft asked them to make a FF game for Xbox360 so they made a "business decision" and went ahead with that deal (you can search for SE boss interview where he explained why they made a 360 version of FFXIII and you'll KNOW that I am not creating these facts myself). I think XBOX360 FFvs13 news is incoming this E3.

I only recently read an article related to the same news. PS3 has sold over 5 million consoles in Japan. I am sure that article had more information regarding other consoles and where PS3 currently ranks. So this really isn't news. This is reposting the same news. Still, it's great to see PS3 pass the 5 million mark.
I can't even imagine what'll happen if they further recude PS3 cost to $250 (can't covert to Yen). It'll be like PS2 all over again!

Lol, I guess that 3 disk thing is a perfect solution or the next XBOX360. With gigs and gigs of data capacity available on BD, why would you need multiple disks? Plus every PS3 comes with a HDD, I don't see that changing either only, the HDD size will easily surpass 1tb or 2tb by then so you can easily store crapload of movies, photos, music on PS4 (though you can alread store a lot of stuff on PS3)

Only idiots compare PS3 sales with PS2 sales. PS3 cost was double the PS2 launch cost. The world economy was suffering bad when PS3 was launched at a very high price. If PS3's introduction cost was $399 or $299, it would have been PS2 all over again. But the high price PLUS economy crises really did hurt PS3 initially. STILL, it managed to emerge as the third fastest selling console of all times. Now THAT is a huge achievement!
If it is Fear 3 then the title is wrong. It gives the impression that the game itself is exclusive which if it is Fear 3, it is not.
