Back in 2007, a big fight broke out at the high school I was going at. Parents blame the principal "for not be able to see signs" that this was going to happen. The music games got milked so bad, that now all you are really seeing are clones. I'm pretty sure if a rockband or guitar hero was to release in the next few months people would still go out and buy it.
Sure some smartphones have high end(for phones) specs,inexpensive games, inexpensive price if you like 2 year contracts. Smartphones are phones first and gaming device somewhere afterwards. Handheld is for people who want a device primarily for gaming/where gaming is their top priority.
