Let me explain some more for you then. If you have played MAG. Then you'll know it had just two DLC maps added. A new screen layout was added late 2010. But a game with this many members on it daily. Then just to have some 6 games and like 6 maps gets very repetitive at times. But it's the scale of the fights that makes you forget that. But if you think about it. You are doing the same thing every time in every game. Plus, the two DLC games hardly ever have enough player's to even...
That's kind of a given. But seeing that I started playing this series Dec 26th 1998. Diehard would be a huge understatement. I still own that 1998 MGS1 game. Even the VR missions. Still have an unopened limited edition Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence. All the walk through books, etc....
Most wanted trophy patch ever in gaming history is MGS4. I would play that game over again in a heartbeat.
Play MAG everyday. Just a hellva fun game. Wish Zipper would support it though... that or MAG 2????
Had a Playstation console since 1994. Do you really think people are going to leave because of 3 weeks of free service being down? After they were attacked? If anything, people are going to join Sony more now. They took care of the issue. Is giving it's uses free stuff as well. But aside from all that. Look at the top exclusive games on the market. They are all sitting on the PS3.
That's not important to us. We have the service back up. They are doing everything possible to protect us. That's what really matters. Let them worry about finding the low life hackers. Besides, hacker's getting information from 2001 and 2007 off old servers is not so treating as the media is making it out to be.

Now that Kojima has come out and killed any hopes of a MGS5 being talked about at E3. I really want to see MAG2. This game is still being played to death on the console. I play it everyday and still love it!!!! But the support by Zipper is just no where to be found at all. Sure they had SOCOM 4 to put out. But even now, player's have come right back to the 256 player giant. Once you've played in something of this scale. Hard to ever go back to some 16 on 16 stuff, lol.....
The guy knows his money to be made is all in MGS. Why he works on anything else in life is beyond me. I started playing MGS1 Dec 26th 1998. I like so many other's in the world want nothing more then more MGS games. Like full story games!
RDR won GOTY and is a damn epic game. So that's a pretty big mountain to overcome I'd say. Which LA Noire will not be able to do. Simply for the fact that UnCharted 3 will crush everything else this year.
Hard to say if we will ever see another "new" MGS5. It seems Kojima's real relationship with the voices of the characters is in question. Has been for some time now. So in a control measure by Kojima. He seems to keep the games voice people out of the loop.
