Yeah single player only takes you so far in a game. The Mass Effect series has my favorite story and campaigns of any game or series, however I could never replay that same campaign enough times to equal the multiplayer I have put it on Battlefield 3.
Unless of course it is an elder scrolls game. So many hours of my time..gone....

The statement from quantic dream are remarkable. It is great to see a company these days with integrity that puts something other than money first
why don't they make it so you can have it always on and always connected so your games and everything are always updated(because that is a very good idea), but make it so it will still work if not connected, because otherwise the cons outweigh the pros. It sounds like a great idea that is being implemented very very poorly.

Even if they change it and eliminate this internet connection requirement, xbox doesn't look good. The rumored specs, along with their campaign against used games (which is legitimate, they posted a poll on their official facebook page), the fact that you must pay for live, and now this? Any of those 4 are deal breakers and the chances of all 4 being false is very unlikely.

Everything. They try to make stuff simple for people who know nothing about computers, and the result is something extremely inconvenient and annoying and unnecessary
Always online is a horrible idea. There are other people in my household who use the internet, and i'm not that much of a jerk that I hog the internet. So I would like to play without having to be online.
Also when it storms my internet always goes funky, so yeah.

Yeah, story is needed. Great graphics aren't NEEDED but are still very important. When I played Oblivion for the first time it was about 3 years after it had come out. The graphics and animations, just ew. Yet it remains the most played game ever for me.
I don't mind 30fps, I'd rather have 1080p and 30 than 720p and 60. But its a fps and yeah yeah.... But seriously great wall of china as a level? PLEASE don't let this turn into COD!

So things cannot change? Playstation is on the heels of xbox and who knows, with a successful playstation 4 sony could retake the U.S. That's like saying the 360 wouldn't do well because of how dominant the ps2 was. And that just wasn't true.
