The xbox one isn't lacking in games though.
There are so many great games across all systems.

That's because most console games are programmed to run in uniform regardless.
Higher resolution = more power needed.
A console game running in 4k needs lower graphical fidelity to run smooth. The devs don't put extra effort in for the 1080p version for higher fps or better graphics.
But there is much more free headroom budget available, it just doesn't get used.
Let's be honest. Who is going to play...
Lower resolution= better graphical effects / higher fps
Please give us 1080p 60fps options

Played too many games with time wasting fetch and collect side quests.
