Game quality would be so much better if people only bought games once they get released and get good reviews and maybe a gameplay vid or 2 from normal gamers

Agreed, people underestimate the Scout Helicopters
One thing in compared to Battlefield 3 is that here in Battlefield 4 the engineers can almost look directly in front of the Scout so its a lot easier to help get locks on enemy aircraft without your heli having to turn to the side. Let heli shoot first shot then engineer locks on and shoots together with helis 2nd shot for almost instant takedown :)
