The shotgun from Ratchet and Clank comes to mind, seriously on all these 'best weapons' lists I expect to find some R & C love but never get it. Best weapons in video games are from those games.
This article fails because it doesn't have a single weapon from Ratchet and Clank, seriously I can think of 3 weapons that beat every weapon on that list.

Its nice to see some real talk about this game instead of fanboys giving it unanimous praise. Personally the single player is the highlight of this game but still doesnt touch Bioshock or Dead Space.
Co-op is easily trumped by R2 co-op.
And even with all 2008 releases I've still got to say CoD4 is the multiplayer king.
So what does this mean? CoD 4.5 is a good package but none of its elements escalate it to GotY status and certainly not to the legendary...
Anyone know if the Wii is region free or if by some miracle it will be comming to the ps3? Im pretty sure ps3 is region free.

Its a fantastic idea to discount PSN games as a seasonal bargin (I've picked up Everyday Shooter and PJM on discount before) and now we are treated to some more really amazing games at 5 bucks.
Guess I'll pickup Novastrike and pass on Wolf (already have the others) and of course SF II
The scoring system was horribly flawed.
CS was way too significant and made the games like Fifa look like filler material.
Also it was xbox 360 games then CS for the PC...why split platforms then give the 1 PC game the most points?

Pretty poor review, not because its an 8.5 but because in Gameplay, Graphics and Lastability all score 9 and Sound scores an 8, which brings down the total review to 8.5, since I believe sound is the least important in FPS I would think they aggregate score would be boosted to a 9.
Also the multiplayer isnt fun? Im sure hes just too frustrated to get past the initial learning curve.

This article is just stating the obvious and I've been using the same arguments to convince my friends to get ps3 over 360 simply because the software library gap has shrunken if not closed and hardware is not even a contest.
I think it being written in such an anti-microsoft manner will turn many people off of the article even though its pretty much all true.
IGN usually has pretty good ideas but I have some problems with the list.
Diablo 3 should be the top spot.
RTS should not be put on consoles, micro-management is far more efficient with a keyboard and mouse setup and would result in inferior gameplay on console versions.
But I do agree that consoles are in need of some quality RPGs and would not even mind seeing people play WoW for trophies and/or achievements (I don't know why that image is so hilarious...
I was looking forward to Fable II being enhanced by Co-Op but I guess I'll just have to keep playing my PC for RPGing with friends
The main argument against this game is that while being made accessible to casual players, people who are casual will not want to put time OR effort into making new levels. So apparently the game hits a brick wall when story mode is over.
This reviewer must have forgotten about the fact that when a casual gamer plays once or twice a week they will be GUARANTEED new, never before seen downloadable content WHICH IS FREE.

Pretty weak analysis. Your problem with the electric grid is easily solved, take the cowards way out, or NOT restart the game like the developer told you.
Madison Paige was the weakest character in my mind, she was overly sexual and her relationship with Ethan did not feel real (but perhaps it was because she was a journalist and wanted the story at first then fell in love).
