PSEye started that whole body tracking movement in gaming. its just now with better tech they can implement what they have been trying to perfect.

why is there no Monster Hunter for PS3?
i have in photoshop recreated the jp version almost to perfection, in super high res. when i get the game im gonna scan the us cover so i can match the back with the new front i created. if anyone wants to lock up a high res version pm me. im gonna put it up on flickr as soon as i get my hands on the game.
i mean, we knew GT5 was far from done, plus if you look at all these crazy new features, u know damn well PD want EVERYTHING to work out of the gate. they are a prideful bunch, who have prob heard or read all the hoopla surrounding the game. im sure the game is done as features go, but i think this time is being spent in making sure it all comes together smoothly.
if this game were rushed, and it was even slightly gimped, N4G and the rest of the internet/universe would implode on...
