hope the hype doesn't end up working agaiinst the game with over expectation... it's one of few games i pre-ordered as a collector's edition
they didn't demand that ... they demanded that they allow developers to restrict 3rd party peripherals that allow certain control schemes ... or to allow the developer to have all players use that control scheme not just the ones that bought these 3rd party converters
@Kleptic ... not exactly these games are not supported altogether on the ps4 ... you can repurchase a ps4 compatible version.
If they decide to make them available on ps4 and push people to buy them again ... then yea that would be similar... it's kind of what they did with ps2 classics, they modified them a bit and added trophy support and made people rebuy them.

Sorry dude ... just calling people names doesn't mean you are right ... you don't have to agree with them and they are trying to get their voice to the developer as they are "opinionated" as well i don't see anything wrong with fans giving feedback and the developers listening and acting on feedback ... it's what makes the game fun and has made it a success so far.

you are complaining about other players complaining ... calling people "ignorant identity warriors and sore losers" just because they think it's unfair to be pinned against players that gave themselves an unfair advantage ... it's their right .. they paid for the game knowing the only supported method is a gamepad and they should have the right play a fair game.
just because you don't play competitive doesn't make everyoen else that calls out some...
@RedPill86 it's not a supported input method by the game ... u'd have to get an external perfieral to emulate the use of a controller through other controls methods that are not available to all players ... either everyone gets to use them or noone should ...
If ou think it's fair and you feel superior playing against a majority of controller users ... and that type of winning satisfies you good for you ... but when it comes to fairness it's just not fair :)
@v_eno_m had the option to use a mouse and keyboard been a native one for all players ... so be it ... this is not the case at this point in time blizzard is not supporting these controls so having to pin controller players against mouse and keyboard players is not exactly fair. Games that have allowed it in the past natively gave options to choose whether or not you want to play with other players that are using such controls ... and if it was a choice i wouldnt want to play with them.

I had a very obvious match with a widow maker using a mouse ... killing me with a headshot while grappeling i close to impossible to lend that once let alone multiple times during 1 match using a ps4 controller .... thanks for calling me dogshit :) that's big of you ... and yes i am allllllllways complaining .... you know me so well dude :) i am not a gold tier sir ...

there are good players and there obvious cheaters ... it's easy to tell from a kill cam replay when you see a mouse aiming vs a controller aiming.
the current supported control method is the gamepad ... these players are using mods to allow them to emulate the gamepad controls and map them to a mouse and keyboard this is not something they can detect with software unless console makers make it possible for them to do so.
ohhh mighty opinionated guide us with your wisdom ... or not ... it's just a mater of balancing their games so that they are enjoyable for most players .... when you're in a competitive match on console with the supported control method being the controller and some douche gets mods that allows him to get an edge on you using hardware not skill it's frustrating as hell and it's good that they listen to their fan base ... even though in this specific instance they actually sai...
a few widowmakers killcams can be an easy tell..
first party games were great... nintendo didn't care enough to make more of them and make the system stronger and warrant a buy

the lack of variety in objectives applies to the soul series as much as it does to Nioh i guess ... ennemy AI is a pattern in these games they are not supposed to be supper smart u're just supposed to learn how to exploit the pattern
I think it's just a bit biased to call out game mechanics as negatives when this is exactly what is expected.
