I can tell you of lots of great games that exist on steam but don't exist on switch ... if it was exclusives alone the WII U would have persisted but the main factor that contributed to the switch's success was the form factor... personally i bought the switch to play nintendo games but i don't believe that's the main reason most parents buy it for their children

we know very little, whether its a easy for most users thing or there's more risk for the average user is yet to be tested... coz u know most users can't replace a screen on a phone for example doesn't make them dum dums, this might be assembled in a way that favors form over upgradability...

not sure why its acceptable for people to behave like cave men online in the name of "Freedom of speech" when they would not be able to say the same things in public... freedom of speech does not entail harming and abusing others... there should be certain platforms especially ones that allow you to reach out individuals who are public figures and identifiable in public that limit such "freedom" to be akin ones that applicable in real life.

i still have not opened mine ... waiting to see more impressions by real people so thank you :D, though one thing i dont get is most reviews seem to state how they can hear footsteps of other players in games, i havent used a headset that didnt allow me to hear footsteps so not sure why this is a selling point
there's nothing wrong with an effort to make ur library more playable and timeless ... rather than push people to constantly buy remasters.
Sony are doing the same with select titles i don't see you critizing their effort into making GOW or Ghost Of Tsushima run at 60fps... I own both systems and i dont there's any reasons to dislike the effort of the opposing platform if anything it should push sony to try to offer similar value
The original ran off a disc.. with disk read speeds i needed to have uncompressed files coz of slow disc read speeds, cartridges and installed versions should have way better read speeds they could've definitely had different file formats... it's a lazy effort ... on the flip side as someone who owns the game on wii / wii u i'd rather play the dolphin emulated version with texture mods at 4k and 60fps.

That even a smaller sized version could be a better version so there is no point comparing file sizes to dermine the effort that went into remastering the game ... they could have released a smaller sized version more suited to the switch disk capacity with a bit more effort
control on ps5 is smaller in size than control on ps4 ... doesn't make it a worse version
hope they can also do the same magic they did with xbox one x and increase resolution on some titles as well ... would love to play some older games in 4k60

what's the point ? in both cases they sold as much as they produced ... it's not an indication of popularity just of how the production ramping up
