I think M$ made a wise decision, albeit this time, to not go the route of Pro. They must have seen through the logistics, despite having a Pro model under development for sure, and decided that they've already botched this generation far enough, they're not gonna negatively impact them in this regard,anymore.
On the contrary, Sony thought that they could get away with it.

This is called Desensitization of the masses. Slowly but surely. That's their gameplan for some time. Unless we the consumers speak with out wallets.
Considering that ps4 pro was 12-15% of total volume sold,i'd wager that this time it'll be even less when you factor in everything from loss of interest to mediocre overall quality release schedule.

Don't know why but i have a feeling that they are gonna announce Venom expansion alongside just like Miles Morales for PS5.
But even more crazy,i feel like they'll be releasing Wolvering as launch window game,unrealistic i know.

If only Performance was good enough on PS5,i would have enjoyed it more and might have completed it already. Now waiting for fixes. Also that 45 fps mode is the strangest modes ever.

Given the price hike in Japan where it sits above 550 usd,i'd say at least 600 usd is gonna be an easy price for enthusiasts and that's exactly what it's target's audience is.

You must mean Base model,then most definitely. And Pro at 500-550 USD. But that's the best case scenario.

I for one have high hopes for a 60 fps mode this generation as this has been one of those tech that majority have been quite vocal about and given the budget for GTA VI, we can expect groundbreaking tech and optimization from Rock*,contrary to what anyone say,be that DF or anyone else.
