well the last time I've seen facial expressions this good was in the long lost tech of LA Noir. And to be honest facial animations have been extremely stagnant throughout the generation. there's been some games which had better than average facial expressions but nothing too extravagant. however, nothing has come close to The Last of Us Part II facial expressions. i bet there'll be studios that strive for the same fidelity but i doubt anything will ever come close to what naughty ...
basic microsoft PR they've been better with twisting words, being manipulative, and moving goalposts better than they've been releasing any noteworthy exclusive for like the past 2 generations of their consoles. i don't see this changing going in to the XSX
