Really impressed with this game; came out of nowhere for me.
Played this at a preview event; it was great. Happy to see it delivered on a whole.
Dare! It is for me.
Haha, sorry astil420! Usually I am the grammar/spelling Nazi, but I missed that somehow. Thanks for pointing it out.
I concur 100%. After this, I honestly don't understand how that dote from a certain website couldn't wrap his head around the combat system/electrified obstacle's timing...or the fact that he simply had to jump across to a poll, which he for some reason couldn't see. Ugh.
God that presentation is garish!
Absolutely, I hate when people do that. And there's certainly no basis for it with Lost Planet 3, I can tell you that much.
It actually pleasantly surprised all who played it. Look out for this one guys, especially if you yearn for some split-screen, local co-op. :)
I never played the second one, but I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.
I have a penchant for these sorts of titles. I was tossing up between getting it or not; now I might just buy it.
Never played the first, but this sounds good.
I got a shout out, woohoo! :P
Brings me back to my chip-tuning days in college...not even a joke. Haha. Great piece!
NetherRealm* :P But yeah, check it out I say.
I have always loved Ed Boon and the team, and this is pretty much 100% fanfare from them. There could be tiny balance issues when you look at each and every character and how they play against certain others, but NetherRealm have the ability to make edits without forcing an update download - which is what they did with MK - so it's not really a problem.
Still has its issues, mostly in presentation/technical side, and it will always just be golf...so if you're not into it already, odds are the gameplay will get boring to you as it cannot change too drastically.
"A crude mishmash"...genius! Haha. Good review.
Everything I have heard, read and seen about this one is that it's awful. I think a 7 may even be generous. Of course, when playing co-op, tolerance for mediocrity raises. It's always more fun.
Well it is the Vita version, so keep that in mind. The PS3 review will be up as well. I've never played previous entries so I have nothing else to compare it to in that regard.
Oh and Ellie apparently swears a lot...A LOT! lol. Nearly every time Joel offs someone in brutal fashion she curses.
