Clearly you did a good job of actually reading the article, since it goes on to explain that those two are considered "Entertainment Press" instead of actual Journalists. 2 points for you.
8^¥ <---zombie emoticon!
Pfft.... for movies/tv series? Probably a couple of months after release on DVD.
Games? Maybe by the sequel, if no sequel then maybe a year?
Books? (Harry Potter comes to mind): A few months, get to the library already. ;)
Spoilers are no big thing to me. If I run across one, I don't get too bent out of shape over them, but I like the idea that the author brings here. Spoilers don't need to be plastered all over the place within hours of a release. Maybe a couple of months to even longer, if at all.
Everyone has to start somewhere. Just don't let it get you down. I'm sure there'll be plenty of pinheads you'll encounter along the way. Ignore them. Their opinion isn't going to have any effect on your life, anyway. And keep the mute option handy. :)
First of all, I am a parent. I wrote the article, (Hi, I'm Erik). I never said there was something wrong with video games, all things in moderation. I said that there was a problem with the government stepping in to do a parent's job.
Just like you did.
I don't remember that, but I can see how it would be the same kind of mentality.
That's true. And it's time for the Government and the media and everybody else to stop giving these people an "out." Own up to it, be a better parent. Even if it means you don't get to play 'friends' with your kids. That's not your job. Your job is to raise these kids to be productive members of society, good people. Not senseless drones.
He has to go! But not without a big bloody ball-of-fire fight!
sometimes it's just a matter of the right game at the right time. My wife doesn't particularly like FPS games but she was all over Left 4 Dead and the sequel. Haven't really gotten her to play others, so it sometimes just depends on the game regardless the genre.
The review was fine. Still doesn't make me want to run out and get the game. I never played the first one, so I'm not likely to pick up the second one any time soon.
lol
