Switch is the best place for third party. I proudly paid $400 to a scalper just for the OLED tablet and joycons. Go back to your children's consoles and let us real gamers thrive.
Yet there's over 100 worth owning and none are "Nintendo" games. Aokana was mind blowing. Doom and Wolfenstein are breathtaking. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus was mind bending. Yall people got no idea what you're missing out on.
But some of the best games ever made are on the Switch and played best in handheld mode to boot. I sold off my PS4 collection just for more sweet VN's and an OLED. Dying Light and Crysis Remastered are heavenly on the Switch. Kotori's route in If My Heart Had Wings was probably one of my best gaming experiences since The Last of Us. The Switch is the best Nintendo console since N64.
I spent $400 just to get the Switch OLED tablet and joycons. No dock, cables or AC adapter. Probably one of the best purchases I've made.
Kind of like how Persona 5 Royal is heading to the Switch
Doom Eternal and Doki Doki Literature Club is the best family entertainment, am I right?!
Switch is the best console for FPS's and visual novels so I have zero complaints.
But I own a Switch just to play graphically intensive third party games and visual novels in handheld mode. It's heaven on earth. I even spent $400 just for the OLED tablet and joycons (no dock or AC adapter).
I got Heavy Rain on launch day for the PS3 and it was my first Platinum trophy. I've been a fan ever since. Sure, some of the dialog isn't perfect but what is today? Lol .. Quantic Dreams still makes some damn fine games.
Blah blah blah.. who cares about this game.. tell me when Summer Pockets or A Sky Full of Stars gets a Switch port. Actual good games you know?
True.. but it's still a fact that it has those games. I sold my PS4 collection towards visual novels on the Switch and a Switch OLED. That's how awesome it is.
Yup.. I'm doing it through PlayAsia myself 😁 .. it's the same price as the eShop version so no complaints
Next month I'll be getting the physical version from PlayAsia for the Switch. Can't wait to finally play it.
I guess a 10/10 would be your score
Naturally a 9/10 from me
I'm working on getting a Switch OLED right now but I do plan on getting this and an Xbox Series X next year. Hopefully those will be more readily available when the time comes.
Well yeah.. as you can see from my list above, I don't use it for Nintendo games, lol. It's the first Nintendo system I've enjoyed since the N64.
But they're the only console that widely supports visual novels which is why I sold off a majority of my PS4 collection to go towards more visual novels and a Switch OLED. So they do have some positives. This is the first Nintendo system I've owned since N64 back in the 90's as I've strictly been Sony since the first Playstation.
I got a mile long list that proves you wrong. Some of the best games I've played are on Switch..
Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue
If My Heart Had Wings
World End Syndrome
Doom Eternal
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Metroid Dread
BioShock: The Collection
Resident Evil 4
Dying Light: Platinum Edition
Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!
Metro Redux
Clannad
Sony is best for The Last of Us, Xbox is best for Halo and the upcoming Starfield, Switch is best for third party.
