Problem is that most did play the prior games which is why they're disappointed. Brilliant game but doesn't follow the standard MGS style outside of Peace Walker. I loved the numbered titles but could barely get through Peace Walker which is why I'm so hesitant about Phantom Pain. Even more ridiculous is the fact that you have to do prerequisite tasks just to see the full story. If I just wanna blaze through for 20 something hours to see the full story then it should be my choice....

Bloodborne is too difficult to win many GOTY awards. Brilliant and atmospheric but too difficult for everyday gamers.

Technically this should be my 11th platinum. When I had a PS3 I was only one trophy off from having a platinum in Dead Space and Mass Effect 2. My next platinum will be The Order: 1886.

MGS4 is my favorite all around but it's a tough choice. I'm waiting awhile before I get V because it seems overwhelming and I'm not into many open world games. I didn't enjoy Peace Walker too much.
