Withering Waves and Uma Musume winning were the only times I cheered, lol
I gave mine away to a roommate once I got my Steam Deck OLED.
The characters, tropes, story and dialog is what makes it so fun though. Those "terrible" things are why I love. If I had any complaint then it would be that there was too many routes. It took me 400 hours to complete everything so I think they could have cut nearly half of the routes out. Even so, it's still my all-time favorite game.
It's in my wishlist because the developers are fans of The Hundred Line which is my Game of the Year.
I mean you're into JRPG's so I'm surprised you don't know these titles. One of the creators of The Hundred Line had previously made the Danganronpa series and Master Detective Archives: Rain Code and the other creator was responsible for the Zero Escape series and AI: The Somnium Files series. Very well known and beloved franchises. In fact, No Sleep for Kaname Date is the third game in the AI: The Somnium Files series and it just came out in the Summer. In fact, there's a...
It was done with Master Detective Archives so it will be the same with then and Shuten Order.
If Master Detective Archives went to PS5 then you know this will next year. Just finished it on my Steam Deck OLED and after 400, I can confidently say it's one of the best games I've ever played.
Definitely buying this one!
100% Game of the Year. Just finished it and got all achievements after 400 hours and it was one of the best gaming experiences of my life. I'm all for getting more or one last "true" route added on as DLC.
Game of the Decade: The Hundred Line - Last Defense Academy
Those are the more mainstream picks I decided to make as examples. Well actually there is Doom: The Dark Ages and Cronos: The New Dawn which were tons of fun as well. Pretty much anything from Uchikoshi and Kodaka (Too Kyo) is instantly GOTY for me. They're the two best game developers of the last 20 years and now since they have their own company and create games together, their brilliance has been magnified. I've been gaming since 1989 and The Hundred Line is both the longest (400 h...
I got it on my Steam Deck OLED and it's just as good as the PS4 version aside from having a lower resolution.
Yeah, I'm getting it but I'm still wondering where the heck Steins;Gate 0 Elite and Steins;??? are at, lol
Yeah, I quit collecting physical once I switched to Steam Deck OLED because it's the only gaming system I need.
Steam Deck OLED for me, baby. Best gaming device I've ever owned.
Easy.. 3 of the best games of 2025 got snubbed. The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, No Sleep for Kaname Date and Shuten Order.
Zombie!!!
Quit selling essentially the same games every year and revenue might increase, lol
I would really like information on Steins;Gate 0 Elite and Steins;???
The true GOAT should have swept the awards. The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. Well, at least Uma Musume won something.
