I think you time traveled accidentally because you're describing Capcom from last generation. Plus they hired a bunch of college students who were doing a remake of Resident Evil 2 to work on the actual remake that came out last year.
I remember back in the old days when I was one of the few people that actually liked this game. Happy to see more have come around. I used to get buried for liking it, lol. Hoping for a lengthier sequel on PS5.
MGS4 was only released one time for one console though on June 12, 2008. That's when I bought the PS3 / MGS4 bundle and got back into gaming for the first time in nearly a decade. Good memories.
I remember IGN giving the original a 3, lol .. I enjoyed it but I just remember it literally getting buried by professional reviews. It's more of a cult classic amongst fans.

I was really enjoying this game until I got to a part so difficult that I wasn't able to get past it. It's the only PS4 game I never completed due to difficulty. Someday I'll return and hopefully get past it and complete it.

God of War, Fallout 4, Red Dead Redemption II, The Last of Us: Part II, Uncharted 4, Detroit: Become Human, The Order 1886, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, Until Dawn, Doom Eternal just to name a few
Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 are their best games though
Yeah I subscribed to her in late 2016 and in 2017 we used to talk on Facebook messenger all the time. I even sent her a copy of the Life is Strange soundtrack and she opened in during a mail opening video. So I'm biased too. Remember when she was in an episode of one of the Criminal Minds spin off shows?
I don't know who to trust though because I've heard anywhere from 2 to 10 hours. That's why I decided on Persona 5 Royal and then I'll get it once it's $40
They did have a digital version for PS3 and Xbox 360 but it was a downgrade. I own the PS3 version.

I've always loved it more than God of War because I actually finished it. The last God of War was traded for Wolfenstein: Youngblood which I'm about to get the platinum for.
I got The Outer Worlds for $35 and I'm enjoying the hell out of it ❤
I always enjoyed 6 better than 5 and I was one to get RE5 at launch
