at least the saturn had a price and release date at their reveal. and after the reveal u could still play used games. so worse the the saturn reveal i'd say. not to mention the saturn actually showed games.

you do realize the list you posted shows how much nintendo influenced the gen right? battle royale? sports champs? all their move games are thanks to the wii's success. i didn't mention any wiiware titles. and most on that list arn't trying anything new. heavenly sword? resistance? uncharted? warhawk(which is a ps1 game), demon souls isn't even a sony title. they do nothing new. only games that tried something new was flower, journey, and heavy rain.

may just pick this up but it's according to what vc games are released.
if they did leave the console market gaming would die due to what you said. most every gamer starts with nintendo because thei parents know the games are safe for their children. if nintendo was to just up and leave, i seriously do nt see parents buying their kids a ps or xb considering the games they promote are gears, halo, killzone, last of us. and if kids don't start out playing most will find other hobbies.
we will let you work on a 3d pokemon rpg for wiiu with zelda style graphics. please.

if i remember correctly 7 months in the only games ps3 had worth playing was resistance and heavenly sword. uncharted was months away and so was metal gear solid. there was maybe 30 total games on ps3 its first 7 months. mgs revived the ps3
360 was in the same boat. their best games in the first 7 months? perfect dark, kameo, and king...
yet again i don't see how they don't have 3rd party support. they had 3x as many launch titles as xb360 and 4x as much as ps3. in the same amount of time of release the wiiu still has more games available then ps3 or 360 had. and i know "ports", bt most of what came to 360 and ps3 at first were ports. there are plenty of titles to play. what games did they miss this year? only good 3rd party games that come to mind are bioshock and borderlands and in their place we got lego ...
ea pulling support a big deal? no. ea games have never sold well on nintendo systems. best selling ea games on nintendo are harry potter.
only people who are oing to buy the system are first party players. well considering mario kart u sold somewhere around 25 million thats a pretty large chunk.
