FF is one of my favorite franchises and FFXIII is the only one I could never bring myself to complete. The brain dead battle system is one of the reasons. 25hrs in and just stopped because I just didn't care about the characters or the story.
I do have fond memories of a few of the midnight launches. Particularly CoD MW2/BO/MW3, GTA 4/5, MK 2011, and Skyrim. With that said I haven't stepped foot in one since probably the launch of GTA 5. They are just never competitive with their prices. When there's constantly sales on PSN or Live and they won't price match it ultimately becomes their own undoing.
We're talking about The Last of Us not Breath of The Wild here
Wanna know how I know you've never played it? There's no trial for it on EA Access. Two things need to happen. This article needs deleted and you need to put on some clown makeup.
@naruga
Because one is actually a game with good gameplay. The other is the greatest hiking simulator ever created with 9hrs+ of cutscenes.
Been wanting to try Darksiders 3 but Arkham Knight? They constantly have it on sale for like $5 and it's easily the worst one of the the Arkham trilogy
I went with digital for a few reasons.
1. A lot less clutter I have to deal with
2. I like the convenience of easily being able to switch between games
3. Gamesharing is a big reason. Me and friend split the cost on a lot of games and just gameshare.
4. PSN/LIVE/Steam ect are always having sales. Most new releases you can get for $30-$40 less than a month after release
5. I travel a lot for work so being able to pack up my PS4 to take with and eve...
It's like they never played the original. Barret literally calls Cloud a retard at one point.
CoD 2 is still up and running on the 360. So please explain what you mean by that the servers will shut down soon.
Not a fan of EA in the slightest but I'll continue to buy NHL year after year because it's the only hockey game on the market.
Ok but Playground Games isn't first party either. MK8 released in 2014 on the Wii U so why does that get a pass when TLoU doesn't?
So MK8 gets on there even though it released on the Wii U 3yrs prior but no Last of Us? FH3 gets on when it's not a first party game but no Bloodborne?
Decided to check out your comment. Do you like anything? Everything is bland boring trash to you. I think you need a new hobby.
Guns in games made me violent. Everytime I see a bear I have to kill it. Damn you Oregon Trail.
If my info got turned over only thing I got to worry about is what they'll think when they see my porn searches.
I want to be excited because this looks like something I'd love. From what I've seen though it just screams mediocre. Combat looks bland. No body damage at all and just looks overall boring. Then every video I've seen it looks so buggy and massive frame rate dips all over the place. I hope it's good because I love medieval type of games but so far it just looks like a bargin bin game all over.
I managed to get it for $25 and you know what? It's actually a lot of fun. I've been enjoying it a lot more than Battlefront 2015. It's a shame because the core gameplay is really good. The whole loot based progression system is still stupid but whatever I've been able build up my two main classes and heros decently well. Still don't like the concept though. The MTs deserve every bit of scrutiny but give credit where credit is due. Dice made a damn fine game.
I buy it every year because of EASHL. Since the jump to current gen it's been awful. The engine they use Ignite is just terrible and fans have begging EA to move to the Frostbite engine like FIFA. What made last gen of hockey great was that it knew it was a video game. Was the perfect blend of arcadyness and realism. Current gen it they don't if they want to create a hockey sim or a hockey video game. It makes for a very clunky slow experience.
The micro transactions are a non factor because everything can be earned for free in game. Not sure where the idea that it's a grindfest came from. Someone has already earned a Platinum for it and I'm already at 87% trophies completed.
Some games can really benefit from it. I play the NHL games and the community for them is small in general. On PS4 it's not to bad but I recently picked it up for my X1 and its playerbase is so small. We repeatedly couldn't get a full EASHL lobby and would get the same players over and over. A game like that desperately needs crossplay.
