What? If they drop support for pre-owned games you're going to use Steam, where, how does it work again?
Oh yes. You can't use pre-owned games...
I've never purchased a used game, and never traded a game in.
I don't want some others guy's jizz all over my game disc and manual.
Besides, relax. This is just for online only, it will be a fully integrated Online Pass system for all devs to take advantage of so we don't have different systems all working at once, ie. Sony's and EA's. That will therefore lead to the same user experience no matter what the game.
PS4 will not be 'always connected', for the reason it won't be downloadable games only, or streaming games only. They've previously said - officially - whilst it might be something they'd like to to, they can't because of the state of the internet in the territories they sell in.
You contradict yourself, or rather, answered your own question.
The GPU isn't out yet you claim, but then say the PS4 isn't out until 2013. By which time, what, you're expecting the GPU to still not be out?
Just because it isn't out yet doesn't mean it can't be in the PS4. And if you then go 'well it isn't out yet so it will be super-expensive', nonsense. They make brand new budget GPUs all the time, they aren't hundred...
OK, let's clear a few things.
The used-games block will be for online only. So to the person saying it will require discs to be writable, they won't be. It'll send off some unique code on the disc marking it as being 'used'.
You can hand the game to your pal and they'll still be able to play the offline features.
It is basically like what he have now with Online Pass etc, but a fully integrated solution rather than hav...
Utter bollocks.
Most of the "demands" are just opinions, or more to the point, bits that annoy whoever came up with this BS.
For sure some items on the list are needed, improvements to spawns, lag compensation etc - but when it comes to nerfing akimbos (which has already been done more than once) and removing stealth bomber from support etc - that is just an opinion, it isn't a technical problem or a bug.
