I was really looking forward to this game. Shame
I usually don't talk about drugs and my usage of them, but I just had to say I've been getting through Bloodborne mostly stoned, and man... it's beyond awesome. The scares, action, satisfaction is somewhat intensified and all drive home a magnificent game - not that it needs any drugs to be awesome, immersion wise i suppose.
(Btw Yeah i know it's an X1 article but I'm honestly not trying to start shit by bringing up BB)
I have loved Powder for quite a few years now...
GBA version is awesome (and the creator's original project) for anyone who wants a great, deep rogue-like on the go. PSP version is also really good too.
(Off topic: but lately I'm addicted to ' Shattered Pixel Dungeon' on Android. It's free so any rogue like addicts should try it out!)
Personally, if I only owned an X1, I'd be doing everything I could to get a PS4 and play Bloodborne. I love From's last 4 games THAT much.
Having said that, back in '11 my brother and I (who both loved Demons' Souls) had a theory that Sony perhaps made a deal to revisit Demons or a new *exclusive* IP after 360/PC owners were "hooked" on the upcoming & multiplatform Dark Souls, in order to make what we now know as 'Bloodborne' into a REAL ...
That happened to me back in the day with Banjo Kazooie haha. 90 something % down the drain.
I was pissed at first, but then I enjoyed starting over again anyway.
Absolutely *loving* this game.
The rare game that comes along and gives you satisfaction in spades and reminds you why you are a gamer!
I haven't played this game, but does it have a monster vs monster (1 on 1) mode?
If not that could give the game some legs, be relatively easy for them to create and would be like a cool fighting game with huge arenas, also reminds me of something like Primal Rage lol
Seems that enjoyment based on chance (that is: possibly getting a good team and possibly versing a good monster player) is not a good plan for ongoing, consistent entertainment.
@poor_cus_of_games
Yeah, those wolf bastards...
I had to swallow my pride and buy the only available equipment from the little ghoul in Hunter's Dream for a bit more defence. It definitely helps!

No worries RDR.
@captainexplosion It's almost criminal how no one is talking about La-Mulana. Those devs definitely deserve some support
(I know "ratings" don't give an indication on sales, but its only got 38 ratings in EU region. Just makes me a little sad is all lol)
You guys should also try out La-Mulana if you get a chance for one hell of a good time-sink, Metroidvania meets Spelunky style platformer
Okay list. Crazy that 25 spots just isn't enough for the amount of quality games over the course of the PS3's life.
Also;
is the date on this article correct?
"Dec. 14, 2013"
The comments are also from "a year ago"
I'm usually not a stickler for n4g rules (I presume submitting old ass articles is against the rules?) but come on that's ridiculous.
Sorry if a little off topic, but i feel the same as rocknrolla about not only this game which I'm loving, but La Mulana on Vita, is anyone else playing this? Absolutely incredible game so far. Indies on a real roll lately as far as my personal preferences are concerned anyway.
It has been getting a lot of (and free) advertising by the haters and "journalists" and as such they have given the game much, much exposure and raised awareness to just how fun this game actually looks, regardless of what they are claiming.
So I think we'll find it'll sell very well, but time will tell.
Edit: I just read some other comments which agree with my sentiments/I agree with theirs so yeah, right on
This is bullshit... A 9? Just WTF is going on here...?

This is bullshit... A 9? Just WTF is going on here...?
I'm sick of this buzz word bullshit.
Jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, eye-opening, cock-sucking
what's next?
Hey - don't forget "mind-blowing"
Call me crazy but I got a Warhawk-like vibe from that kill for some reason.
